Treasurer & Head of Prisoner Support
Demetrius Thomas serves as Treasurer of Auxilium Worldwide and leads the Substantive Support to Prisoners project. Demetrius also consults as an economist to help connect economic impacts with actual citizen impacts across issues from maritime economies to site developments. He brings 20+ years of entrepreneurial and business operations experience that spans the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. His diverse career includes operating a $127M rideshare business as General Manager at Lyft and scaling workforce development programs at Dreambound.
Currently serving as Executive Director of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce Research Foundation, Demetrius leads objective research on state economic competitiveness, including comprehensive tax studies and economic impact analyses on various issues across the Ohio economy. Demetrius holds an M.B.A. in Strategy and Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a B.A. in Economics from Columbia University.
