Meet Osmar Rivera

Cancer Research Initiative - Gardener

Osmar Rivera is a gardener, landscaper and lover of nature. He became enamored with bees as a young man and has developed expertise in bee keeping and production of bee products.  He is currently the President of the Central Maryland Beekeeping Association, the owner of Luna Apiaries, and a leading voice in Maryland’s avid beekeeping community.  He supports Auxilium’s work in cancer research through helping maintain the natural environment around our apiary and helping sustain our four season garden on which the bees are reliant.
